Two kinds of people are in here

Ceede is made by KAM Financial Solutions F.Z.E, B.C. 1303189, C1 Building, Ajman Free Zone, Ajman, United Arab Emirates. That is the company behind the product and the one you are writing to when you write to info@kamfinancialsolutions.com.

Ceede holds information about you, the person running a business. It also holds information about your clients — the people you quote, invoice and write contracts for. You put that second kind in, it is yours to answer for, and Ceede holds it on your behalf and on your instructions.

In the language of data protection: for your own account you are the subject and KAM Financial Solutions F.Z.E decides how it is handled. For your clients' details you decide, and Ceede carries it out. Ceede does not decide what to do with your clients' information — you do.

What Ceede holds about you

  • Your email address, and your name if you give one. Sign-in is a code sent to that address, so there is no password to store or lose.
  • Your business: its name, country, currency, and the language your documents are written in.
  • What you do in the product — which screens you open, which suggestions you act on — kept as counts and events so the product can tell whether it is helping you.

What Ceede holds about your clients

Only what you, or systems you connect, put there. In practice:

  • Names, email addresses, phone numbers and postal addresses you enter for a client.
  • The documents between you: quotes, invoices, contracts and orders, the amounts on them, the terms written into them, and whether they were paid.
  • Work recorded against a client: deals, tasks, time entries and notes.
  • Files you upload — a logo, a receipt, an attachment on a document.
  • Bank movements, if you connect an account or import them, so the cash figures are real rather than typed.

If you connect a mailbox, Ceede reads what arrives

Connecting an intake address lets Ceede notice that somebody has asked you for something. To do that it reads the messages sent to that address.

It stores who sent it, the subject, when it arrived, and a short extract — enough to show you the request and tell whether it has been answered. It does not keep the whole message body. It does not read any other mailbox, and it does not send anything to those senders unless you press something.

Ceede sends email in your name

Invoices, reminders and quotes go out from Ceede when you send them, from the address your business has configured. Your client sees your business, not Ceede. Nothing is sent automatically unless you have switched on an automation and set it to send rather than draft — and every run is recorded where you can read it.

Notifications, if you turn them on

If you switch on the morning brief, Ceede sends a notification to the devices you turned it on for. It names the thing that needs you, which means it can show a client's name and an amount — 201cGulf Media is 15 days late201d — and a notification can appear on a locked screen where somebody else might see it.

Ceede stores the address your browser gives it for each device, and nothing else about the device beyond enough to tell one from another when you are turning one off. You can turn notifications off at any time in Settings, and switching a device off deletes its address.

Where it lives, and who can reach it

  • The database is PostgreSQL, hosted by Supabase in Frankfurt, Germany (eu-central-1). Uploaded files are stored there too.
  • The application runs on Vercel. Email is delivered by Resend.
  • Every business's rows are separated in the database itself, not only in the application code: row-level security is switched on and forced on every table, and the application connects as a role that is not permitted to bypass it. A query that forgets to filter by business returns nothing rather than somebody else's invoices.
  • Before serving traffic, each instance checks that the role it is connected as cannot bypass those rules, and refuses to serve if it can.

What Ceede does not do

  • It does not sell your data or your clients' data, to anyone, for any purpose.
  • It does not use your data to train machine-learning models.
  • It does not load advertising or third-party tracking scripts. The usage figures it keeps are counted in its own database and go nowhere else.
  • Staff do not read your records. Access to production data is limited to what is needed to fix a fault you have reported.

Cookies

Four, and none of them are for advertising:

  • A session cookie that keeps you signed in. It cannot be read by any script on the page, and it expires on its own.
  • Which business you are looking at, when you belong to more than one — a preference, not a credential, and the server checks your membership regardless of what it says.
  • Your language.
  • Your light or dark preference, so the screen does not flash the wrong one while it loads.

Taking it out

  • Invoices, quotes and contracts export as PDFs, and lists export as CSV, from inside the product without asking anyone.
  • Deleting a client removes their record and their details.

How long it is kept

Ceede is a business record. It is meant to remember: an invoice from last year, a contract that ended, what a client was quoted and whether they paid. A tool that quietly deleted that would be worse than useless, so nothing here expires on its own. What follows is the complete list of things that do cause deletion.

  • If you close your account, everything belonging to it is permanently deleted 30 days after you ask. The 30 days exist so a mistake can be undone; after that it is gone and cannot be recovered.
  • If you simply stop using Ceede, nothing is deleted. Your records stay while the account exists, for as long as that is. There is no quiet clear-out.
  • If you disconnect a mailbox, the connection is removed and the log of messages Ceede read from it is purged on the fifteenth day after it stopped watching.
  • If nobody signs in for 24 months, you are sent a notice first and given 30 days to say otherwise before anything happens.

Your clients' rights, and yours

If one of your clients asks what you hold about them, or asks you to delete it, that request is yours to answer — you decided to hold it. Ceede's job is to make that possible: everything about a client is visible in the product, and deleting them removes it.

For your own account you can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for the account and its data to be deleted. Write to info@kamfinancialsolutions.com.

Changes, and how to reach a person
